【摘要】:Forcertainapplicationswheninsulatingliquidisstressedathighvoltagegradients,itisdesirabletobeabletodeterminetherateofgasevolutionorgasabsorptionunderspecifiedtestconditions.Atpresenttimecorrelationofsuchtestresultswithequipmentperformanceislimited.Inthistestmethod,hydrogen(alongwithlowmolecularweighthydrocarbons)isgeneratedbyionicbombardmentofsomeinsulatingliquidmoleculesandabsorbedbychemicalreactionwithotherinsulatingliquidmolecules.Thevaluereportedistheneteffectofthesetwocompetingreactions.Thearomaticmoleculesorunsaturatedportionsofmoleculespresentininsulatingliquidsarelargelyresponsibleforthehydrogen-absorbingreactions.Bothmoleculetype,aswellasconcentration,affectsthegassingtendencyresult.Saturatedmoleculestendtobegasevolving.Therelationbetweenaromaticityandquantityofunsaturatesoftheinsulatingliquidandgassingtendencyisanindirectoneandcannotbeusedforaquantitativeassessmentofeitherintheinsulatingliquid.Thistestmethodmeasuresthetendencyofinsulatingliquidstoabsorborevolvegasunderconditionsofelectricalstressandionizationbasedonthereactionwithhydrogen,thepredominantgasinthepartialdischarge.Forthetestconditions,theactivatinggashydrogen,incontrasttoothergases,forexample,nitrogen,enhancesthediscriminationofdifferencesintheabsorption-evolutionpatternsexhibitedbytheinsulatingliquids.Insulatingliquidsshowntohavegas-absorbing(H2)characteristicsinthetesthavebeenusedtoadvantageinreducingequipmentfailures,particularlycablesandcapacitors.However,theadvantageofsuchinsulatingliquidsintransformersisnotwelldefinedandtherehasbeennoquantitativerelationshipestablishedbetweenthegassingtendencyasindicatedbythistestmethodandtheoperatingperformanceoftheequipment.Thistestmethodisnotconcernedwithbubbleevolution,whichmayarisefromphysicalprocessesassociatedwithsuper-saturationofgasesinoilorwatervaporbubblesevolvingfromwetinsulation.1.1Thistestmethodmeasurestherateatwhichgasisevolvedorabsorbedbyinsulatingliquidswhensubjectedtoelectricalstressofsufficientintensitytocauseionizationincellshavingspecificgeometries.1.2Thistestmethodisnotconcernedwithbubblesarisingfromsupersaturationoftheinsulatingliquid.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityofwhoeverusesthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionssee5.1.4and8.4.
