【摘要】:Studieswereconductedtoaddressthreespecificquestionsrelatedtotheuseofcomposite-reinforcedpressurevesseldesignsforthetransportationofcompressedhydrogenatpressuresupto103MPa(15,000psi).ThesestudiesinvolveddeterminingthehydrogenembrittlementresistanceofAA6061-T6aluminumalloymaterialtypicallyusedasalinerincomposite-reinforcedcylinderdesigns;determiningwhethercomposite-reinforcedpressurevesselsusingplasticorthin-wallmetalliclinersweresubjecttodistortionduringthefilamentwindingprocess;andidentifyingtestmethodsthatcanbeusedtoestablishthelong-termperformanceofnon-metallicmaterialsexposedtohigh-pressurehydrogenenvironments
